Toured The Eltz Castle this weekend. Absolutely the prettiest setting you can imagine. The weather was drizzly & cloudy, so the pics aren't great. You'd have to see it in person to really appreciate the atmosphere. The vineyards on the mountainsides, the 850 year old medieval castle in a hidden valley - too amazing to even try to explain!! We took a cruise in Koblenz - right where the Rhein & Mosel rivers connect. Can't believe I cruised the Mosel river valley - how cool is that!! We also sampled several local wines during dinner in a villa on the river. Excellent food & wine all shared with some pretty fun people...3 men Jaymie works with, along with their wives & some fellow Americans that came in to observe a shut-down. Had a ball!
