We just returned from our first European Vacation - we spent the past 4 days in Paris. The first 3 days were spent doing the typical American thing...DisneyLand! This was a surpise for the kids & they had so much fun! Ross finally got to meet his hero, Buzz Lightyear and Emma collected pictures and autographs of all the characters. Then we spent a full day touring downtown Paris. Yes, I finally saw the Eiffel Tower! We also went to the Arc D' Triomph, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon, and on and on. It was a very long day that included a boat tour along the Seine River, lunch at a Paris cafe, and ended with an elevator ride to the first level of the Iron Lady. The view of Paris is amazing. We will have to return so that we can see it at nighttime & I can get a chance to visit The Louvre.

Overall it was a fun trip for the kids and an intersting/educational trip for us parents! Paris is beautiful, but we can't say too much for France in general! We were thrilled to touch down in Dusseldorf this morning. Viva La Germany!!

Good job taking us all on the scenic sites with you, all with the aid of photos, internet, and verse. Life is grand. Until Xmas, enjoy what else may present itself.
